On June 25, 2010, China Institute of Veterinary Drug Supervision (CAVDA) organized a symposium on "Administrative Measures for the Issued Batch of Veterinary Biological Products" (Draft submitted for review in 2010). Sheng Yuanxian, deputy director of the Ministry of Agriculture Veterinary Bureau and Li Xiangdong, secretary of China Veterinary Drug Supervision Institute attended the meeting. A total of 35 people from Beijing Veterinary Drug Inspection Institute and other 6 provincial veterinary drug inspection and inspection institutions, Qingdao Yibang Biological Engineering Co., Ltd., China Poultry Industry (Group) Corporation and other 12 veterinary biological products enterprise representatives and related experts attended the meeting. The participants discussed the specific content of the "Administrative Measures for the Batch Issue of Veterinary Biological Products" (the draft submitted for review in 2010), and reached consensus on the review basis of veterinary biological products.

At the meeting, Deputy Director Sheng Yuanxian reviewed the management work of batch issuance of veterinary biological products, fully affirmed the importance of formulating and issuing the Management Measures for Batch Issuance of Veterinary Biological Products, and put forward specific requirements for the next related work. Secretary Li Xiangdong made an important speech, he stressed that the "veterinary biological products batch issuance management measures" as the "veterinary drug administration regulations" supporting regulations, should be formulated and issued as soon as possible, so that the veterinary biological products batch issuance management work more standardized and institutionalized.

The holding of this seminar has laid a solid foundation for the further improvement and promulgation of the "Administrative Measures for the Batch Issue of Veterinary Biological Products". (Contributed by the Business Management Office of China Supervision Institute)
