This product is white or almost white powder.

[Pharmacological effects] sulfonamides antimicrobial agents. Sulfamethoxazole can inhibit the synthesis of dihydrofolic acid by competing with p-aminobenzoic acid (PABA) to produce bacteriostatic effect. Trimethoprim is an antimicrobial synergist. By inhibiting dihydrofolate reductase, dihydrofolate cannot be reduced to tetrahydrofolate, thus impedes the metabolism and utilization of folate in sensitive bacteria. Trimethoprim combined with sulfamethoxazole has synergistic effect.

Sulfamethoxazole is easily absorbed by internal administration, with a low plasma protein binding rate and a high acetylation rate (50% ~ 70% in goats). The effective concentration in blood is maintained for a longer time.

Suitable for treating respiratory and urinary tract infections of livestock caused by sensitive bacteria.

[Usage and Dosage] Calculate with sulfamethoxazole. Oral administration: a single dose, per 1kg body weight, 20 ~ 25mg for livestock. Use twice a day for 3-5 days.

[Adverse Reactions] Adverse reactions have not been observed in the recommended dosage.

[Precautions] Long-term use may damage the kidneys, so it is recommended to take it with the same amount of sodium bicarbonate to reduce adverse reactions.

[Treatment period] 28th. Discarding milk for 7 days.
